The quality of life in retirement can be even further enhanced by choosing from a host of exercise options. From strength training to yoga, you will find movement a great way to increase your physical condition and sense of well-being.
The Wellness Program offers a variety of seminars for those preferring a more mental approach to fitness. If you work best with supervision, your fitness program can include an individual wellness plan, dietary consultation and participation in regular medical question and answer sessions.
Wellness Center Hours and Services

Private appointments are made by calling 205-347-0027.
The “Nurse-Is-In” clinic hours are times when the nurse is available in the Wellness Center for services and scheduled appointments. Residents may use this time to obtain assistance with medical referrals, wound care, blood pressure and weight monitoring and ear and eye drop administration. The Wellness Center is located on the first floor next to Administration offices.
Various other services are provided by the wellness center staff. Some services may require a fee which is applied to the monthly statement.
